Pantone Seminar CD - .icc profiles

Postby Chief » Wed Jan 28, 2009 9:24 pm

I attended the Pantone Seminar today in Birmingham which was very informative & helpful for understanding how colour should be handled between agency, presspress & print. When I viewed the contents of the CD given after the seminar, I was browsing through the Presentation PDF where I decided to follow the instructions for the colour settings in the various Adobe apps but there doesn't seem to be any .icc profiles on the CD, I am missing something? :?

Also a question I thought of afterwards was that what determines how spot colours are displayed on screen as I assuming the profiles used contain only specific information relating to either RGB or CMYK?

I couldn't find the .icc profiles folder either...

not the Creative Suite Colour settings, nor Quark colour set ups...
