Apogee X PrePress Curves

I would like to ask how I import press curves from PressSIGN 3 into my Apogee PrePress? I have saved data from the Save/Export Menu in PressSIGN and have selected 'Agfa ApogeeX' from the pull down menu and have also selected 'Calibration Curves' from the Export menu. I saved these to a pen drive on a Mac in the Press Room. I have ended up with cmyk text files with .txt extension. When I go to import these into ApogeeX PrePress I cannot see them as Apogee is expecting a file extension of .mime. What am I doing wrong? I did not select 'Adjust Existing Calibration Curve' as this was originally input manually into Apogee from values created in PressSIGN 2.

Hi Karl,

The '.mime' files contain information not available to external programs and cannot be made externally. Essentially you create a new calibration in Apogee and import the individual curves generated from pressSIGN.

Create a new calibration curve, set it as individual curves and individual adjustments. Once that has been set up you can import the files generated from pressSIGN.
