PressSIGN colour bar

PressSIGN colour bar

We need to have white areas in the colour bar to allow for press wheels ie take them out using Illustrator.
Will the colour bar still work with the Intellitrax and eye-one?

Hi Andrew,

The answer is yes for both devices in v4.6 (tested) provided there is at least one of every required patch type in the measurement.

You can delete a maximum of 2 consecutive patches of any type, giving you between an 8 and 12mm gap depending on colourbar type, layout and ink duct width of the press.

Users of older versions of pressSIGN should only delete Solids as otherwise you might have strip recognition issues.

Dear Fred,

Please take a look at the Pressign measurement report when we save it at pdf format.
There are: Job name:, Printed by:, Press:,..., Measurement:
The question: How we can make: Measurement: 5 measurements (at that report)

If you have any question, please feel free to share.

Regards,
Pohan

Hi Pohan,

There are two ways of doing this;

For the Print Buyer and Standard version of pressSIGN you take multiple measurements of different sheets etc etc, then highlight 5 measurements within the Job window and click the Calculate button. This will then say 5 Measurements Averaged in the Measurement Report.

The Pro and Internet Server versions can save what is called a Production Report. You do not need to average any measurements, it will show the total number of measurements within the job at the same place as in the Measurement Report and then on page 2 itemises each measurement with a breakdown of the points for each targeted criteria. I have attached a sample of both for your reference.
